Below are
Spring 2007 photos of the pink tulips that Loria
gave to me at
Easter time in 2001. She had bought the
blooming flowers
in a container and I transplanted the
bulbs to our
front yard. They have continued to
grow and
bloom
each spring ~ always on or near Loria's birthday!
When she gave them to me, there were only a few
blooms and
four or five bulbs. They have multiplied in
quantity each spring
and there were 23
blooms this year. Each
year that they
appear,
I consider it a true sign that Loria is
still with us.
A few of my favorite pics of Loria through
the years ...

"Though nothing can
bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, or glory in the
flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind."
