April 4, 1979 ~ the day that you were born.
The first time that I held you in my arms.
The first time that I saw your tiny hands and feet.
The first time that I truly knew what love felt like.
I loved you then my child and I will always love you.

You always enjoyed your birthday celebrations.
You loved friends, parties, and yes, gifts!
You knew that it was your special day.
I hope that you're having a big
birthday bash this year in Heaven.
A special celebration for someone very special.

I'm still here.  Bound to this Earth.
Forced to live without your physical presence.
I know that your spirit is with me.
But it's still very difficult to live without
seeing your face and hearing your voice.

... that you know how much you are missed.

am traveling and you are helping to guide me.

... that you will always be with me in spirit.

... that you will welcome me to Heaven

To honor Loria's memory, Loria's sister Crystal, and her
husband Kevin have adopted a local highway for clean up near
our home here in Catawba County, NC. Three different signs
are posted along the highway and they now serve as
a reminder to all that Loria LIVED!
